I am glad to see that Apple Watch series 3 has better battery life. Maybe I should have bought that.
Unfortunately, I bought an Apple Watch (series 2). Mine gets at best 1.5 days battery life with GPS off, wrist raise turned off, screen dimmed as low as it will go, and only steps, notifications, and HR turned on. It wakes me at night to tell me to “Stand up”, and every time I get in the car, I have to forget and redo Bluetooth connections. Otherwise, trying to use Nissan voice commands to place a phone call just hangs up on me when it can’t make a simple phone call.
I wish I could get better battery life. Maybe I can turn off more hidden stuff, but looking for how to do that is a headache and why have all those features if I have to turn all of them off to have acceptable battery life?
I’m close to getting rid of Apple Watch for having the worst battery life of all smartwatches. After owning a Pebble Time Steel, all the other smartwatches (so far) just disappoint me. I have also bought a Martian Passport, and MyKronoz ZeTime, but find them also not able to match my Pebble Time Steel for usefulness, dependability, and battery life.
