After much complaining about lost connectivity, random reboots, and full watch crashes requiring full recovery/reinstalls, my wife bought me an Apple Watch for Father's Day. At first, I was really sad to say goodbye to my Pebble Time. It had lived on my arm for a long time and (mostly) faithfully kept me on time and on track. After a month with the Apple Watch, I still miss the always-on display and a few of the old watch faces, but little else. As an iPhone user, I have to say that the Apple Watch just works. It stays connected and lets me do almost everything I want from my smartwatch. In the end, I think it's just a shame that the Pebble company/team fell apart, and that Apple didn't quite let them have full access to everything. It was a good run, but I wish all of the continued Pebble users good fortune and long battery life with their Pebbles.
