Has anyone else noticed how the cost of Pebbles have increased recently? I bought a brand new silver Pebble Time Steel about a year ago, with a metal strap thrown in, for £85. I can’t find a new one now for less than £120 and that’s the awful red/gold one (sorry to anyone who owns one of them, it’s just my opinion). The cheapest new silver one I can find is over £240, and on Amazon there are some going for over £330. Even the standard Pebble Time is now £85, I bought one of them off Amazon for £45 for work around 6 months ago.
It’s good to see there is still demand. If these things were about to go down the toilet and become useless, even with reduced new stock, surely you’d be able to pick them up for next to nothing. I own a Gear S2 and I’m about to sell it. It simply doesn’t get any use in comparison to my two Pebbles so why bother keeping it. I use the Time for work where I’m not concerned about scratches and buffs, and the Time Steel with its classy look and metal strap for all other time.
